Law firm software where no deadline depends on someone's memory.
Cases, deadlines, work journal and billing in one place. Whoever opens a case sees what you see - what has been done, what comes next, and what it is worth.
- Published pricing, no negotiation
- 14-day trial, no card required
- Your existing cases are imported
For solo attorneys and law firms of any size.
Firms rarely lose cases. They lose deadlines, hours and fees.
Not because anyone is careless, but because the work is spread across heads, folders and spreadsheets that do not talk to each other.
-
01
The deadline lives in someone's head
The diary is on paper, the reminder on one colleague's phone. When that colleague is on leave or off sick, the deadline keeps running. Nobody is watching it.
-
02
The case is in five places
A folder, e-mail, Excel, chat messages and somebody's desktop. When the client calls, it takes ten minutes to piece together what was done last and by whom.
-
03
Done, but never billed
A meeting, a filing, a phone call. What is not logged the same day does not exist in the month-end bill, and that is money you have already earned.
One case. One page. Everything on it.
Three screens captured from a real demo account, one for each of those three problems.
The week ahead, with overdue deadlines on top
A deadline is entered on the case it belongs to, and the reminder goes to whoever is responsible. Anyone who opens Rokovnik sees the whole week - hearings by day, the person assigned, and everything already overdue marked in red.
Every case has its own page, and you find it in two seconds
A case is opened once, at intake. Parties, court, phase, deadlines, documents and billing all attach to it. Quick search (⌘K) looks across case number and name, client and party at once, and does not care whether you typed č or c.
The case journal is also the basis for the invoice
Correspondence, hearings, meetings and tasks are logged chronologically, with the name of whoever logged them. Each activity carries time spent and billable time, by tariff or hourly rate, so the month-end invoice is built from the journal, not from memory.
Everything you get
Cases and clients
A page per case - parties, competent court, phase, assignee. A client directory linked to their cases and invoices.
Deadlines and hearings
Tied to the case, with reminders for the person responsible and a weekly overview for the whole firm.
Work journal
A chronology of everything that happened on the case - who logged it and when.
Activities and billing
Time spent and billable time by tariff line or hourly rate, with the option to exclude an activity from billing.
Documents
Filed per case, with version history and per-user access control.
Quick search
⌘K from any screen - cases by number and name, clients and parties, diacritics or not.
“We already have Excel. Why would we pay?”
AdvokatX and Excel solve a different problem. Excel is a general-purpose tool; AdvokatX is built specifically for running a law firm's caseload. The comparison below is honest in both directions.
| AdvokatX | Excel | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | From 3,000 RSD per user, monthly | Free, if the firm already has an Office license |
| Layout freedom | A fixed structure per case, client and document | Complete freedom - columns and sheets however the lawyer wants |
| Deadline reminder | Automatic, tied to the case | None - the deadline sits in a cell until someone looks at it |
| Multiple people on the same case | Multiple users can log journal entries at the same time, with no lost changes | A shared spreadsheet is easily overwritten or locked for editing |
| Who changed what | An audit log per case and field | No trace of who changed a cell, or when |
| Role-based access | A trainee doesn't see cases that weren't assigned to them | Whoever has the file sees everything in it |
| Billing and work journal | Linked to the case and client, ready for billing | Manual re-typing into a separate invoicing spreadsheet |
| Getting started | An account and an import of basic data | Immediately - the spreadsheet is already on the computer |
Where Excel is better. Excel wins on two points without exception: price (it's free if the firm already has Office) and layout freedom - a sheet can be rearranged however the lawyer wants that second, with no one else's permission and no data model standing in the way.
Where Excel stops working. While one person runs a small number of cases in one spreadsheet, Excel is entirely sufficient. It stops working once a deadline exists only as a date in a cell and no one gets a reminder a day ahead; once two people open the same file and edit it at the same time, and one set of changes gets lost; once the firm needs to know who changed a case's status and when, and Excel doesn't log that; or once a trainee needs to see only their own cases, not the whole firm's file. Once a firm grows past a handful of cases, these four gaps become a daily cost in time. Until then, Excel is a legitimate choice, and we're not hiding that here.
Your clients' data is your responsibility. This is how we keep it.
Attorney-client privilege does not stop because the case is in software. Each item below is how the system works, not a promise.
Per-firm data isolation
Enforced at the database level (row-level security in PostgreSQL), not only in the application - a query without your firm's identifier cannot read its rows.
Login and access
Two-factor login is required before first use. Module access depends on the user's role within the firm.
Audit log
Creating, editing, deleting and restoring cases, documents and billing entries is logged - who made the change and when.
Deletion and recovery
Deleting something doesn't remove it permanently right away - items move to Deleted, from where the firm's administrator can restore them.
Where documents are stored
In hosted storage, separated per firm, with no public link to the file; the architecture is built so a firm can later connect its own NAS device as well, if it needs to.
GDPR - who is the controller, who is the processor
The law firm is the data controller for its own clients; we are the processor acting on the firm's instructions.
And what it does not do yet
Better to read this here than to find out in your third week of use. If any of these is a precondition for you, get in touch and we will tell you honestly whether and when it is planned.
- No client portal. Clients cannot log in themselves to follow their case - communication still runs through the lawyer.
- No e-signature. Signing documents is still handled outside the system.
- No SEF integration. Invoices are not sent automatically to Serbia's e-invoicing system (SEF) - export and submission are manual steps.

Try it free- Why the price is public
- Every other program for lawyers in this market asks you to book a call to learn the number. We think a number makes the decision easier, not a salesperson.
- What “per user” means
- A user is any login account - lawyer, trainee or office staff - counted by active accounts in the current month. The number of cases and documents does not affect the price.
- What happens after 14 days
- If you do not choose a plan, the account switches to read-only. Your data stays intact and you can export it.
FAQ
Can I import my existing cases?
Yes. We import cases, clients and basic data when the account is set up; the scope and format of what we import is agreed in advance, depending on where the data is coming from.
Where is the data stored?
In hosted storage, separated per firm, with no public link to the file. The architecture is built so a firm can later connect its own NAS device as well, via a local agent.
What happens after the trial period?
If no plan is chosen, the account switches to read-only; the data stays intact and available for export.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes, an annual subscription is paid upfront at a lower effective monthly price; the exact discount is confirmed when the plan is set up.
What if our number of users varies?
Billing follows the number of active users in the current month; adding or removing a user doesn't require a plan change.
Is the price the same for lawyers and administrative staff?
Yes. The price is per user account, regardless of role - lawyer, trainee or office staff.
What happens if we move from the Starter to the Firm plan?
The upgrade is available immediately from account settings; the price difference is prorated for the days remaining in the month.
Who has access to our firm's data?
Only users with an account in your firm. Isolation between firms is enforced at the database level, not only in the application.
Is two-factor login mandatory?
Yes, for every user before their first use of the system.
What do we get if we cancel?
An export of all of the firm's data in a readable format, before the account is permanently closed.
